David, I owe you so much. Thank you for all that you did for me as our ‘young, dynamic’ history teacher. You set me on a course that shaped the rest of my life. You showed me (and my parents) the possibilities for a girl in a country grammar school in the 1960s- and I am so grateful. The rest of my life has revolved around ‘History’ in one way or another. Although we did not meet up much in the past 30 years or so, we always kept in touch and enjoyed an exchange of views and historical perspective. And the bell ringing! NEVER to be forgotten!
Happy days!

David we wanted to thank you for being such a kind and generous friend over the last 30 years. We both enjoyed spending time with you and Anne. We remember the theatre trips you organised for us and the time we spent discussing the productions afterwards. Our annual Eastern Angles Christmas production which were such a highlight for us and made Christmas so special. We have lots of wonderful memories of our time spent with you both and we always appreciated our time together.
Thank you for all your support, help and wisdom over the years. You will be sorely missed but will always hold a place in our hearts.
Love Jean and Tomxxx
